Dune Fremen Ornithopter

I am a huge fan of the Dune universe on the whole. When I got the chance to choose what projects to put into my demo reel, I jumped at the idea of creating one of the ornithopters from Dennis Villeneuve's 2021 Dune adaptation. There are many ornithopters featured in the film but I chose the Fremen ornithopter from the scene where Paul and Jessica flee the Imperial ecology building, because of it's unique insectoid construction.
The ornithopter was modeled in Maya and Zbrush, Textured in Substance Painter, Rendered in Vray and composited in Photoshop and Premiere Pro. Environmental assets from Quixel and Polyhaven.
